Last week, I was on vacation, and right as I left random (hopefully) hacking attempts knocked the BBS offline. Since I wasn't in town to reset it, I was down over a week.

Last night it happened again, and the BBS was down until I got home from work.

I updated to the latest build of Synchronet, but I'm not sure that helps anything. I think the hack attempts are SSH attempts at getting root access to a Linux machine and do something the system really doesn't like so it crashes.

If it keeps happening, I'll get some logs and see if the developer can do something.
