  • Any Tips for Downloading / Uploading?

    Hello All,

    I was wondering if anyone had a few tips for uploading/downloading from a BBS system?

    I use both Syncnet one Windows and Telnet on Linux. I've tried different protocols (xmodem, ymodem, ascii..etc) and can't seem to upload or download.

    I'll be honest, I've had the same issue sometimes-it will download everything and miss the final ack and cancel. I know the latest and greatest is Ymodem-g that has support even in the web browser version. In the old days, I always used Zmodem. I'll try some out on Syncterm and see if I have any luck.

    The file area here is something on my to do list to fix...
