    The ABC network recently polled Americans on their beliefs/feelings when it comes to the most-recent Trump indictment. Here is a brief synopsis.

    48% of Americans polled believe Trump should have been indicted if he did
    what is claimed.
    35% believe that he should not have been indicted.
    The other ~17% are not sure.

    86% of those identifying as Democrats support
    45% of those identifying as Independent support (which means 55% do not or
    were not sure)
    67% of those identifying as Republicans do not support

    Here is where the numbers get interesting.

    Although 48% of the total believe he should have been indicted:

    47% of the total believe the charges are politically motivated
    37% of the total believe the charges are not politically motivated
    16% were not sure

    So there is some overlap of "should have been indicted but it is also politically motivated" in there somewhere.

    So there is some overlap of "should have been indicted but it is also politically motivated" in there somewhere.

    I read this earlier today. There is a very high number of republican voters that think it is politiacally motivated.

    That's because this is what they talk about in their right wing bubble.
