    That's not the problem you have today, it's that some lazy people prefer to have their opinions ready-made rather than taking the effort to search and understand all the sides.

    The over-all media is doing fine in most free countries, as long as you are intellectually capable to choose witch ones to actually listen to, and try to understand in order to make up your own opinion.

    In Russia they don't have many options, in the USA you have several, and yet some voluntarily opted for a media, that not only once but twice admitted in defamation cases that they are not airing news, it's just a TV show.

    That's how fascists create the foundation for their rise to, and maintenance of, power. It's called brainwashing, and as long as many enough people are so badly educated that they don't understand what they are doing, well there's a Fourth Reich in the making.

    Keep opting out from cooking yourself, and take the lazy route out and pay extra for the ready made (by big, rich corporations, making billions on your laziness) dinner, that you only have to micro for six minutes, and the rest of the time you can spend on writing totally uninformed ready-made stuff. Happy meal!

    It's worse than that.

    They willfully ignore anything wrong their masters do, while over-hyping anything wrong that someone else does - partly as distraction, partly to smear the other sides.
