    Hello Everybody,

With *NO* apologies to anybody in this forum -

Frampton: 'It IS the 'f***ing guns!'

    Peter Frampton @peterframpton
I have posted this before but ..

26 years ago, a gunman entered
    Dunblane Primary School in Scotland,
killing 16 kids and a teacher. The UK
govt responded by enacting tight gun
control legislation. In the 9400+ days
since, there have been a total of O
    school shootings in the UK.

    Peter Frampton @peterframpton
School shooting in Nashville pre k through 6th grade.
Children, babies!!! It IS the fucking guns!

Frampton comes alive. When will everybody else?

"We love our guns!" Kids and adults alike!
    Nashville yesterday, someplace else tomorrow!
What does it matter? We love our guns!

This was a child being an adult-killer rather
than an adult being a baby-killer. Not that it
matters. We are all killers in the world we
live in, "the land of the free and the home of
    the brave?"

Three adults, three children. And we all know
the reason why. "We love our guns!"

    For Life,
    Lee

Thanks, I will add Peter Frampton to the list of celebrities who know it all.

It ain't the guns; it's the schools' lack of security. Did you notice that in courthouses, they have metal detection? That's because they don't want their precious judges to get shot. But we don't do the same thing at schools because.... we need money for Ukraine or something stupid like that?

    Hello Aaron,

    Peter Frampton @peterframpton

Thanks, I will add Peter Frampton to the list of celebrities who know it all.

"Do you feel like I do?" That is the question Peter asked his entire
audience of followers. He also asked all to "Show me the way" - which
    they gladly did.

    It ain't the guns;

Yes, it is. Which is why guns should be banned. Especially guns that
kill people. Such as assault-style AR-15 guns, easily handled by those
    will little or no experience.

it's the schools' lack of security.

Three adults and three children were killed in the school shooting
in Nashville. Not counting the 28-year-old nutcase who shot them. With
seven guns all bought legally. This was done not due to lack of school security, but because of easily bought weapons of mass destruction.

Did you notice that in courthouses, they have metal detection?

Did that stop any of the insurrectionists of January 6 from doing
their thing? Nope. Did that save the lives of any of the 5 adults who
were killed on that fateful day? Nope. Did that stop the POTUS from
inciting the riot that occurred? Nope.

Had assault-style weapons been banned, the nutcase who murdered six
people most likely would not have been able to legally purchase any of
the assualt-style weapons she had with her. Or any other weapons had
real laws been passed banning nutcases from owning or having any such
    weapoon in their possession.

That's because they don't want their precious judges to get shot.

Nobody should want anybody to be shot. Even if they deserve it.

But we don't do the same thing at schools because....

There is no excuse. Murder is murder. No child or adult deserves to
die. Not even those who are bona fide nutcases.

we need money for Ukraine or something stupid like that?

Thanks for showing how much you care about human life.

    For Life,
    Lee

ALL Elitists have this problem. Their Narrative is true - no matter how many facts show it's not.

As for Biden, he doesn't even know what day it is and he does/days what his handlers tell him.

My city's high school used to enforce metal detection but they stopped.
It irritates me; what sense does it make to stop doing it?

As I recall (so this is from my admittedly faulty memory), some kids were coming in with innocent metal things just to hold up the line. "Sorry I'm late. Some kid bought in a bunch of salad spoons."

Then things changed where kids were legitimately bringing in things that set the metal detectors off.

I think it all got to be too big a mess.

I'd like to tell anyone using that "prisonlike" argument that it's even more "prisonlike" to force kids to go to school with inadequate
    security.

I agree. But the Elitists don't want school security. If they did, they would eliminate "gun free zones" and allow teachers to carry concealed.

    But they
    1. Don't want to go against the Narrative.
    2. Make schools safe because it gives them excuses to push for "gun control".

In poll after poll, around 80% of the US people supports that.

Anyone with at least a minimum of knowledge supports it.

It was after the GOP in 2005 repealed the law against assault weapons, that the mass shootings really took of, as can be seen in this graph, where the red line marks the turning point:

but to fix the problem completely, we need the metal detectors and 2 armed officers at every school.

GWB had plenty of warning by intelligence agencies about the dangers
of terrorists using airplanes as weapons of mass destruction. Yet he
chose to do nothing to prevent such incidents from happaneing. Then
came 9/11 - to the horror of all, but to the surprise of none in the intelligence community.

It takes no intelligence at all to know semi-automatics such as
AR-15s have no business being in the hands of civilians - or children.
And yet look at how many mass shootings occur, and what types of
weapons are chosen. And we make it so easy for folks to get them.

Easy access to guns is the problem, and will always remain the problem,
for as long as we choose to do nothing about it. What that means is
people will continue to die, needlessly, because nobody gives a shit

In the clown world of the Ignorant Elitists criminals obey laws (even though any 3 year old knows that's absurd) and that if no one (except
the "correct" people) have guns, then no one will get hurt. Even though there are hundreds of other ways to do mass killings.

I suspect that some people are addicted to the media, and deep down, subconsciously, they're even addicted to these school shooting stories.

If we eliminate school shootings, then television viewers are gonna lose their erections. But if we curb the shootings, they're still gonna have lots of "enjoyable" stories to read.

A gun is a gun. They're all deadly. Do you want to cut down
on the number of school shootings, or do you want to stop
    school shootings altogether?

Both, if possible. Plus cut down on the deadly effects of using an AR15.

I've probably said this before, but fentanyl is deadly, and
it's already banned, yet it still kills people.

It would kill a lot more if it were legal and widely distributed. The
fact that it is illegal and that those who distribute it are prosecuted
goes a long way to reducing such deaths.

We could do the same thing with AR15s. They're deadly,
we'll ban them, and they'll still kill people.

It has been proven that if they are banned, then fewer people are killed
    by mass shootings.

How about tougher security in schools? Or how about home schooling?

Tougher security in schools would help, but it would come at a cost.

Home schooling is not for everyone. Can you teach your children basic
math, reading, history, civics? I know that I could not. I could not
teach k-12 math, even though I could teach college math.

    Hello Aaron,

Despite being "banned," opioids continue to kill people.

Easy access to guns is the main cause of people dying needlessly.

We've already tried controlling access, and it didn't work.

The 10-year ban on semi-automatics worked quite well, until Republicans
    decided to let it lapse.

The definition of insanity is to keep trying it some more.

President Biden's proposal is better than the last time this was
done, as all the loopholes have been removed.

A ban will slightly reducde the probability,

The probability would become virtually nonexistent.

We need to make the POSSIBILITY nonexistent.

Japan is the only nation on earth that actually did give up guns.
But unfortunately had to take them up again when other countries
tried to invade. And then we know what happened next. Pearl Harbor
    and WWII ...

GWB had plenty of warning by intelligence agencies about the dangers
of terrorists using airplanes as weapons of mass destruction. Yet he

Yea but warnings aren't what we need.

Such warnings did no good as GWB refused to listen.

We need metal detection and armed officers at each and every school.

The school in Nashville had a "gun free zone" - and yet a mass shooting
still occurred. The only reason more adults and children were not killed
was because of the quick action of law enforcement - which killed the
shooter dead within seconds of arriving at the school.

Easy access to guns is the problem, and will always remain the problem,
for as long as we choose to do nothing about it. What that means is
people will continue to die, needlessly, because nobody gives a shit
about human life in our sick society.

    You're 1/2 right.

The shooter had two semi-automaticn weapons - both bought legally -
which were used to kill six people, three of them children. These
weapons are made for one purpose, and one purpose only - to kill
people. Now you tell me, what other gun would you like to be shot
    with?

But the real fix involves taking away from of the American taxpayers' hard-earned cash away from Democrats/Zelensky and investing it in school security.

Raising the white flag to an indicted fugitive (Putin) is not what
this country does, or is all about.

Back to the subject at hand -

If there is a gun you are comfortable with getting shot with, please
show me which one it is. Seems to me all those mass murderers have a
particular favorite as to which one(s) they like to use.

    For Life,
    Lee

And we tried banning alcohol - which kills people too - and ended up

That was a failed thing caused by the religious right. It was

Wouldn't you agree that we can afford it? If there's money for climate change, and there's money for women's rights in Pakistan, then I think it's safe to assume that there's enough money for school security as well.

Home schooling is not for everyone. Can you teach your children basic

The quality of a home schooling education is less important than the lack of security in schools. I'd be willing to homeschool my kids, but they just don't want it.

have lots of "enjoyable" stories to read.

More like if we eliminate school shootings, they won't have much to exploit for their "gun control" Narrative.

The "gun control" fairy tale probably gives the leftists a sense of security, while they're pressing everyone's buttons.

"We need 10 trillion dollars for fake infrastructure and 10 trillion more for our friend Zelensky.." All that nonsense is going to backfire someday when the taxpayers finally begin to use non-media derived logic.

Tougher security would mean having to spend more school budget on competent school security (as opposed to the kind that just run out of
the school when a shooter is present) and that would mean they would
have less to indoctrinate our kids.

Good point! There's no valid excuse for not bolstering security in schools immediately. Watch those slithering leftists squirm away from the podium when people start demanding it. You know they will!

You know what a "gun free school zone" is, right? It's a metal sign that's similar to a bus stop sign. The only difference is that the bus stop sign really means something.

One that doesn't set off a metal detector, and one that uses bullets that don't set it off either.

Of course. That's their norm. Put a finger up and see which way the wind is blowing. Then talk like that's what they want. But then hide when people start asking why they aren't heading that way.

John Lott, Jr. has already debunked all the gun control narratives and

I think lower-level-leftists will defend the "costs too much to save kids" narrative on behalf of the higher-level-leftists. When they say stuff like that, it gives BIG spenders like Joe Biden & Joe Manchin the wiggle room they need to scamper off with the jackpot.

kids" narrative on behalf of the higher-level-leftists.

That's pretty obvious. The top people are usually hidden behind several layers of patsies to take the blame for the bad decisions made by the top people.

For example, I found out today that the "expert doctors" who cheered for the COVID lock downs, masks and jabs have pretty much disappeared from view. Good example of a bunch of patsies to push the Narrative and then disappear from public view when the facts come to light.

(For those who don't know: patsy (noun) A person easily taken advantage of, cheated, blamed, or ridiculed.)

    When they say
stuff like that, it gives BIG spenders like Joe Biden & Joe Manchin the wiggle room they need to scamper off with the jackpot.

That's their job: Play blocker for the Big Guy, distract away from the facts.

But remember that Biden is a patsy too. The Biden Crime Family, and whoever is leading that, (Jill? Hunter? Neither have enough brains.) are the ones scampering off with the jackpot.

But I will assert that the goal here is power, not money. The higher level patsies are getting the money to do what their masters tell them. The real puppet masters don't care about the money.
