Where's the defunding? Choke holds aren't "funding." No-knock warrants aren't "funding." Anonymity for disciplined officers isn't "funding." The transfer
of military equipment isn't "funding."

You failed to list any "defunding." What you also failed to list, is that
Biden will be requiring all federal LEOs to stop any police abuse of force
that they witness.

This is also an executive order, not an "official Defund the Police bill." The portion of the Times article that you quoted even says that. It applies only to federal law enforcement officers. It does not affect police funding at all.

Since you clearly had the Times article right in front of you as you wrote this, and still managed to misrepresent it, you were, or reasonable should
have known that you were, lying.

I don't have a problem with this, so long as it gives full details of the misconduct. Apparently, police offices are either not great at checking references, or the references lie a lot.

It is sort of like how some of these mass shooters recently were on FBI or other law enforcement watch lists and yet they did not do anything about it until after they'd shot someplace up. It is better to get out ahead of potential problems, and being able to more easily check out potential
officers is a way for police offices to do so.
