  • Problem merging nodelists

    Hello g00r00, I write this post just to let you know.
    Amiganet nodelist (AmyList) is compressed with lha; on the mutil log i see that merging has been successful without any error but amiganet network nodes still aren't on my nodelist...
    I installed lhasa on my linux os and now nodes are there.
    The problem is log that does not warn of the lha manager software lack but write that everything went well.

    Do none of the Amiganet nodes show up (at all)?
    What does the mutil log say (make sure to set loglevel=3 in the [General] stanza if you haven't already done so)?
    Is the casing (e.g. amiganet vs AMIGANET) correct on the nodefile= line?

    Related to this, make sure to check the day number (.###) of the unpacked nodelist, i.e., inside the archive, as mutil will always pick the lowest-numbered one (i.e., .001 before .365). I stumbled on this when I noticed that changes since new year didn't show up. :-D

    I ended up unpacking the latest nodelist for each network to a known
    name (.001) in a separate directory, and pointed mutil to that directory, to be sure that it can only find one (the latest) nodelist for each network.

    But that might not be the problem in your case. :-D

    Nope, merging fail...
    But that might not be the problem in your case. :-D
    Yes, right, still not my problem, I am solved but i just want to report to dev that the log tell all is ok when merge fail because the lack of neeeded decompress software (in my case lhasa).
    Just installed lhasa everything worked, but the log did not help to understand the problem.
