• Nominations by the ZCC Nominating Committee

From Ward Dossche \ IC@2:2/1000 to All on Sunday, February 19, 2023 14:01:55
    Dear all,

This morning in Nieuwpoort (B) a physical meeting took place between NC292 Niels Jonckheere and myself, both of us comprise the ZCC-mandated 'ZCC Nomination Committee" as it was described by Andrew Leary, FTSC Administrator and Election Coordinator, in the election rules.

We discussed the potential nominees which were approached and whom agreed to be available to accept a nomination.

Therefor we nominate the following individuals to participate in the ongoing election for filling vacant seats of Standing Members of the FTSC:

    Andrew Leary 1:320/219
    Deon George 3:633/509

To eliminate any doubt, Niels Jonckheere will confirm this.

People that were approached but decided not to be available were Richard Mennedetter who cited a lack of time and Maurice Kinal for personal reasons centered around the legitimacy of nominations other than by an RC.

    Take care,

    \%/@rd

Hear, hear! Well done by Maurice Kinal, for standing up against
    manipulation and tyranny!

I nominate Maurice Kinal as the FidoNet Man-of-the-Year.

    Hey Dan!

for standing up against manipulation and tyranny!

I think you might be reading a tad too much into this, but thank you for your support.

Hm. Manipulation might not be too far a stretch though. Personally I thought the timing was really, really bad.

I have serious reservations about tyranny but if so then yes I am against it and would stand up and say so it I actually believed it.

    Life is good,
    Maurice
