Hello Ward,

There's no need to answer this but I'd love to hear about your reasoning of why you think this nomination is justified by past performance beyond "because I can" ...

Your FTN skills end at being an overglorified nodelist clerk.
So, Mr. Invited Guest, what FTN software have YOU written that justifies you being privy to the FTSC inner workings?
There's no need to answer this either because I already know the answer like everyone else: you're a old Fidonet "has-been" that feels you have to justif your existance in Fidonet by using pedantic histrionics for attention becaus you could be easily "removed" from your technical position by the rest of us simply rerouting around you and your Z2C position by using methods you yourself helped "develop".
You want to ask others for justification? It's time for you to provide the same thing.

That is not completely true, but also not completely untrue .....
Waaay waaay back when animals still could speak I mentioned to an FTSC-chair that they could decide upon standards as much as they wanted but without ZC-backing it did amount to very little. This was around that time when a particular (I think German) guy wanted to push something through and did not succeed. So he got himself elected in the FTSC, pushed his thing through and left Fidonet with some choicy words...
To prevent things like that from happening again I requested access to the private deliberations of the FTSC ... and got it ... because I requested it not because it was granted out of vision.
I think Scott was the chairman around that time ...

ZCs were invited guests in the private FTSC areas before Scott Little became the FTSC chairman ;)
