We teach our children the truth, even that about the history of slavery...
What do you teach them is the decimal value of Pi/Ï€?
Since there seems to be some severe confusion about what [Subj:] really means, may I suggest reading about it on Wikipedia, that has a fairly good explanation, even in the English version. I starts like this:
"Freedom of information is freedom of a person or people to publish and consume information. Access to information is the ability for an individual
to seek, receive and impart information effectively. "

It took a DDoS attack (from a certain western country, not very concerned about shit like FOI) to take the server down, so that Wikipedia had to temporarily move to another server. Unfortunately they choose Amazon, not protected by the Swedish constitution, so Wikipedia soon were back in Sweden again.
Here in Sweden we value our constitutional freedoms, we will never budge
to international bullies, trying to stifle our FOI. Freedom *wants* to be free.
We would for instance never even dream of banning certain schoolbooks just because they are not politically correct -- as long as they are scientifically correct. We don't take orders from extremists like Christian
Evangelists or other white supremacists.

Do you also teach them about Sweden's "neutrality" in WWII
which was really friendly towards German requests
Speaking of WWII and being friendly, do *you* teach your children
about the Voyage of the Damned or do they have to read about it on Wikipedia?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MS_St._Louis
Maybe they also should know about how IBM helped Germany with their holocaust, and how much money they made on it?

What part of my statement didn't you understand?

A typical Bjorn response, where he snips out relevant context,
doesn't answer the question that was asked, and then attempts to
divert attention with a stupid question of his own.
What a laughable, pathetic buffoon.
"How can you remove the splinter from your neighbour's eye, when you have a
log in your own?" -The Bible (can't remember the exact chapter and verse)
.. and do not forget IBM-teams immediately following behind the fighting troops to recapture IBM-assets ...

As opposed to someone who doesn't even mention the original content?

A win-win situation for sure. First sell obscenely expensive
equipment, then rush to reclaim said equipment as spoils of war.

The same story is mentioned in several places, most commonly quoted
is from Matthew 7 and Luke 6 (variants depending on new translations
are speck vs. beam).
Another good one, for those living in a country where Evangelical fanatics are ruling, is from John 8:7
"He that is without sin among you, let him cast a stone at her."
I thought the exact translation was: He that is without sin among you,
let him cast the first stone. I.e., without reference to a person.
Could be wrong I am Jewish so might be reading a different translation although

Well, according to King James Bible you are. The 'her' Jesus refers
to was an alleged adulteress that was set to be stoned. Without the
'her' it would be difficult to understand why there was talk about
casting stones in the first place. Even in a Jewish translation (The New Testament?).
The only error I made was I forgot 'the first' and wrote 'a' instead.
I think that may have come from another translation.

It's not about adultery! It's about remembering, yet again, that nobody
is perfect! None of us are angels, yet!
For that to make sense, you have to believe there are angels ... So,
seen any lately?
BTW, you are wrong, my granddaughter is perfect ...

Excuse me. I am just entering this conversation. But I have objections, nonetheless!
The quote I remember, no matter who was king, is 'Let he who is without sin, cast the first stone!'
The exact quote can be read if you follow the link I gave above
(verse 7). That's all I wanted to say.
How you interpret it and how you apply it to our modern society is entirely up to you.
The quote I remember, no matter who was king, is 'Let he who is witho sin, cast the first stone!'
And no, King James wasn't alive by the time this is supposed to have happened -- he was king when this specific Bible translation was written.
