Once upon a time there was the BBS.

It started with some kids, that realized what they could do with a MOdulator-DEModulator over the phone line when personal computers suddenly became available to everyone. And the rest is history. Everyone with experiences from this time is hereby urged to write your history.

I still have my Tandy Cat. No. 26-3818 Acoustic Coupler 2 in the original package in case someone would be interested. That's 300 baud if you didn't know. 8-)

I still have my abacus. With all the beads. But no modem
to connect it to the rest of the world ...
