A question from my side: Despite having configured my userprofile at fido2telebot, whenever I reply from Telegram it posts only with my firstname, never with my lastname.
Is it expected?

Perhaps Stas answered your question by now?
But I *do* see that your post from Telegram contains:
U-TGUID: 103991006
U-RealName: FLAVIO BESSA 4:801/188
..which tells me that your last name SHOULD have been
detected and used, but it was not. :( Dunno.

Are you suggesting to always use realname in the from
field? By the way, this will help to avoid incorrect
characters in names.

Actually, that's how I thought %RealName was being used. ;)
I thought that was the way members could retain their Telegram
username distinct from their Fidonet name.
