Title: Apple Crisp

MMMMM--------------------------FILLING-------------------------------
3/4 c Sugar
6 Or 7 apples; sliced
1 1/2 tb Butter
1 ts Cinnamon
MMMMM--------------------------TOPPING-------------------------------
1/2 c Butter
1/2 c Brown sugar
1 c Flour
MMMMM------------------------NUTMEG SAUCE-----------------------------
2 c Boiling water
1 c Sugar
1 tb Flour
1 tb Butter
1 ts Nutmeg
1 ds Salt
Filling:
Mix well. Heap up in baking dish and dot with butter.
Topping:
Mix with pastry blender. Sprinkle over apples. Bake at 350 degrees F
for 45-50 minutes.
Nutmeg Sauce:
Mix well the sugar, flour, and salt. Add boiling water gradually,
stirring continuously. Add butter and cook 5 minutes. Remove from
heat and stir in nutmeg. Serve hot on Apple Crisp.

1 c Brown sugar
1/2 c Flour
1/2 ts Nutmeg
1/2 ts Cinnamon
1/4 ts Salt
1/2 c Butter
5 c Tart apples; sliced
Mix sugar, flour, spices, and salt. Cut in butter until mixture is
crumbly. Spread apples in bottom of buttered 8 or 9 inch square
baking pan. Sprinkle crumbly mixture over fruit; pat lightly with
fingers. Bake uncovered at 350 F for 40-45 minutes, or until apples
are tender.

4 Apples; diced
1 c Grape nuts
1 c Raisins
1/2 c Water; boiling
2 tb Butter; up to 3 tb
1/4 c Honey
Cinnamon; to taste
Nutmeg; to taste
Yogurt or ice cream
Cook apples in boiling water. Turn to simmer after 2 to 3 minutes.
Add honey, butter, raisins, and spices until well absorbed in apples.
Mix in grape nuts and simmer.
Top with yogurt or ice cream.
