Different herb, different nut. Plus chilies.

Title: Cilantro-Pecan Pesto

Yield: 10 Servings
2 c Cilantro
2 Garlic cloves
1/4 c Pecans; toasted
1/4 c Parmesan cheese; grated
1/8 ts Jalapeno peppers; minced
1/2 c Olive oil
Salt
Black pepper; ground
In the workbowl of a food processor, combine cilantro, garlic, pecans,
Parmesan cheese and jalapeno. Process until a smooth paste is formed.
With the motor running, drizzle in the olive oil. Season with salt
and pepper to taste. Makes about 2 1/2 cups.
