corn on the cob
These days corn is a rare treat since Steve is allergic to it.
That shouldn't prevent you from buying a cob or two, then microwave steaming them in their husk and enjoying them by yourself.
I know, Steve says that I can but I don't like to eat it in front of
him, knowimg how much he likes it too. Maybe I ought to do with corn
like I do with brussels sprouts (which he doesn't like, except raw &
sliced thin). I'll get some from time to time, especially when I can get
them fresh, at the farmer's market. Then on nights he has a meeting with
a meal, I'll enjoy my sprouts. (G)
