What's everyone else doing this holiday weekend?
Not too much. On labor day, they are having a buffet lunch meal. We
do not normally do the buffet meal on Sundays -- but the special Monday
one has bratwurst on the menu. For what ever reason, bratwurst are not
usually found on the restaurant evening dinner menus. So -- even though getting up in time for brunch time (1 pm) is not normal for us, we will
make the effort!
I realize that fresh strawberries are most likely out of season where
you are, but this is a good recipe for when you can get them.
