Erm now I'm confused! Did you select BBC mode 7 at login? That should
set all your parameters for Mode 7 and everything should diaplay
correctly. A few people with Beebs and Arcs (or the webclient)
connect with no issues reported. In commstar (or whatever comms
package youre using) was it set to Terminal (notprestel). 8n1,
linefeeds off and filtering off? Also not sure why eveeything isin
caps for you (sending this from Beeb on BeeBS in mode 7...no caps).

Yes, but the login page is all 80 columns until you get to select the
Mode 7 stuff. If you start it all on a port you can have BBC graphics
from the getgo. It's a bit more work, sure, but not too much.
