Good morning.
I was wondering if anybody else has run into the issue where, at the end of a message scan through any particular mesage area, the @CLEAR_HOT@ macro (I think this is a macro, my apologies if I'm using the wrong terminology) is visible between the 'Post on [message area]? ' prompt and the No/Yes response selection.
For example, here is the text of my last scan through DOVE-Net Synchronet Sysops Only:
Post on DOVE-Net Synchronet Sysops Only? @CLEAR_HOT@[No] [Yes]
Also, while writing this message, I realized that when in the default editor, the same thing happens when attempting to do a '/l' to list the message contents, as it prompts for with or without line numbers... Looks like it's probably at any Yes/No choice here.
I snagged from the latest git version a little while ago here; at the login screen it's telling me I'm running version 3.17 on Linux.
The CLEAR_HOT @-code was added in May of 2020, yet you're running Synchronet 3.17c (from prior to April of 2020).
Yup, you've done something wrong in your update process: your text.dat is fr the latest (it appear), but your executable (sbbs) is not.
