Now if only the author of Multimail could add avatar support, so I can see them. :)

You'd need access to the SBBSDATA echo as part of your multimail feed,
and it would need to keep a local database.
I do think a web service lookup would be a good idea for other clients
to integrate with. Though it might bloat the output, even having the author avatar as a header in the qwk packet as an option for each
message or extension file might be an idea as well.
In my /sbbs/data/qnet directory I've got 645 *.avatars.ini files, however in the avatar chooser it only shows me a total os 272. Am I missing some step or something? AVAT-IN and AVAT-OUT run several times a day.

data/qnet/*.avatars.ini are *personal* avatars of QWKnet users. text/avatars/*.bin are avatar collections available to users of your BBS to use as their own personal avatar.

So if i create a custom avatar and have AVAT-OUT (?avatars export) running, the custom avatar will be on all DOVEnet BBSes as long as they have AVAT-IN running?
And if i have AVAT-OUT changed to ?avatars export -share, the custom avatars of the users become chooseable for other users on DOVEnet BBSes?
Or is a custom Avatar usable by the user who has created it only always?
