    Hello everyone,

I'm a web dev, and I mostly work with PHP. I have tried many frameworks, but man do I love Symfony. The learning curve is a bit steep, but it's well worth it. Have you guys any experience with Symfony?

... You might have mail, I can't recall.

Not directly with Symfony, but I recently started playing with Thelia, which isan ecommerce platform. I am seriously considering migrating my current store toa different engine so I am playing a bit with the available options. Thelia is
built on Symfony and they even have a blog entry about it.

    Never heard about it.

What are the current options nowadays? I know Shopify was gaining some steam back when I was a Magento dev.

If you want to self-host something FOSS based, most people in Spain seems to beusing Prestashop. I current¤y use OpenCart, but they have very poor release
engineering. It is fine for getting a business started on a tight budget but the module system they use is kind of borked and you end up having to maintain your own local branch of the thing.
