• Re: Trapdoor & telser.device

    Hello everybody!

Does anyone have a working setup for Trapdoor using telser.device?

Basically I got it working to that point that I can open Telser GUI
and connect to qico running on Linux and sending EMSI information to Trapdoor, but when trying to start Trapdoor in answer mode it
complains about being unable to initialize the modem and then
    quitting.

I'll provide some more information when I'm back on my Amiga...

    Ingo

It should work with telnetd.device but IMO, EMSI is very unstable over telnet connections.

I have EMSI running over telnet and haven't really seen any issues with it.
On Linux and on my Amiga.

I've found telnetd easier and more reliable as well. :-)

Did you manage to get this going?

No, not yet, but I have to admit that I didn┤t try that hard in the
meantime. Too much real-life stuff like moving around and such...

That's ok. I've now found an amiga ftp program that supports passive mode,
so I've got a work around for now.

    Thanks,
