    2020:

President Trump attends several rallies, rarely if even with a mask.

The peanut gallery sez, "Look at the President, leading and attending super-spreader events! How irresponsible is that? That must mean he is bad and crazy! Save us from the bad man!"

2022: A political organization decides to revive a white-tie event that was suspended due to COVID, as part of a "return to normalcy." Although President Biden does not attend, several other high-profile Democrats and others with ties to Biden, do. Now a wave of COVID positives, tied to the event, is sweeping through the DC elite. Based on photos, masks were not popular among attendees.

    The peanut gallery... <crickets>

    My how times have changed!

Thanks for pointing all this out! I was angry when I saw Biden delivering the SOTU address indoors with (what looked like) hundreds of attendees, 99% of
    whom were unmasked.

I sure wish I had access to a vaccine that would make me invincible to covid.
A vaccine that can allow me to go into a crowded building and hug everyone,
and sniff their hair, without any fear at all of catching the deadly disease that elites are so unphased by.

Well, in Biden's defense (or in defense of his handlers), I saw that he
went back to wearing masks after this latest superspreader outbreak
started, and he is also double-boosted.

Even if I had access to an invincible vax, I am not sure I am ready to go
back to having people in my personal space. I was not super fond of it
    before.

But, yes, it is strange how some people have suddenly decided it is time to
go back to normal when COVID is continuing to spread and mutate. The news
on Sunday (NBC, I think) also pointed out that deaths are starting to rise again in at least 4 states. :(

People who haven't had covid hit home yet are still in denial, and they're "so sick of mandates."

Nobody on either side wants to push mandates anymore. They just want to be liked, no matter the cost.

Especially the side that wanted to push mandates until they realized that
their popularity is falling like a rock and the mid-terms are comming.

So, now we don't need any restrictions!

Why not just one universal vaccine to knock out covid-19 (and all its
    variants) in its tracks?

What we need is sonic showers. Like what was used on the starship
Enterprise in Star Trek. Just think of all the lives that could have
    been saved ...

One single shot in the spring of 2020 would have accomplished just that. Where are all the gun crazy people of the USA when they are needed?

That's what I've been calling for. I want to see further research into covid-19, and I want that research to yield a better vaccine.

Equally importantly, I want to find what happened at Wuhan University. It
could very well be possible that an effective vaccine already exists. It takes brainpower to mutate a virus in a lab, and that same brain isn't going to unleash the virus without a safety plan for themselves and their loved ones, and that safety plan isn't "wear a mask and take a lackluster vaccine."

    Hello Björn,

One single shot in the spring of 2020 would have accomplished just that. Where are all the gun crazy people of the USA when they are needed?

Why bother with guns when all you need is a knife? The other day,
a local fellow who was doing drugs with a local gal had a spat, live
on Facebook Live, for all to see. The gal decided she wanted to leave,
and started to get out of the car. That is when things went sideways.
What was shown of Facebook Live was a gruesome, evil act. No words
can ever describe what happened. Fifteen minutes of bloody horror.
This was in broad daylight, livestreamed on social media.

Does anyone of them speak Russian, BTW? Here's an opportunity to become a global hero...

Last February I was at a restaurant inside a shopping mall when
a shootout between two rival gangs erupted. This was around noon,
and the restaurant had a crowd of about 150 people. We could see
the two cars outside, with guns blazing in all directions. That
is when everybody got the idea to take cover by hiding under the
    tables.

Fortunately, no stray bullets came our way and no customers were left
dead or injured. But outside where the gangs had it out was a different
matter, with two people dead and several others injured.

I had to wait several hours before leaving the parking lot, as the area
was roped off as a crime scene.

All pandemics become endemic. As such, there will be no universal
vaccine that magically cures people from getting covid-19.

Equally importantly, I want to find what happened at Wuhan University.

I presume it is open, with professors teaching and students learning.

It could very well be possible that an effective vaccine already exists.

The vaccines that do exist do the jobs they have been designed to do
very well, saving lives around the world.

It takes brainpower to mutate a virus in a lab, and that same brain isn't going to unleash the virus without a safety plan for themselves and their loved ones, and that safety plan isn't "wear a mask and take a lackluster vaccine."

There are two labs in Wuhan. However, the origin of covid-19 came
from the natural environment, somewhere in southeast Asia. This
area encompasses about half the world's population. Making it the
most likely place for it's origin.

That does not mean covid-19 was developed in a lab, or that it
came from China. That is Trump fantasy-world.
