Is it obvious yet that virtually everything you're angry about isn't what you think it is? Why do you suppose that is?

    * New York does not have only one type of bail.
    * Sexual assault is not eligible for cashless bail in New York.
    * The scope of executive orders is limited to executive branch employees.
    * There is no evidence whatsoever that "leftists" tried to bribe Trump to keep some secret about COVID.
    * Nancy Pelosi did not forbid the deployment of the National Guard on 1/6.
    * There are black people in Texas, and they participate in politics.
    * Biden didn't say that white people are the greatest threat to America.
    * Biden didn't issue an executive order mandating COVID vaccinations for employees of all companies with more than 100 employees.

And that's just from the last few days.

    Jeff.

Accept of course the narrative does not fit your liberal generalities.
    Then it's crickets...
As I recall I have warned you in the early days of Biden Administration as I said then it was going to be a disaster, since we last have spared over this very subject.

It gives no pleasure, to say that I was all this time. Just look all that has happened since we last spoke? It has been nothing short of a cluster_fu*k. Hasn't? Are you about to tell me that these "worst of times" has nothing to do with Joe Biden? Perhaps you will tell me that someone else is to blame.

    That makes no sense.

As I recall I have warned you in the early days of Biden Administration
as I said then it was going to be a disaster, since we last have spared over this very subject.

It's not perfect, but it's not nearly the disaster that the Trump administration was, especially in its waning days.

It not nearly the "cluster_fu*k" that the previous administration was. The January 6 hearings are putting that on full display. And before you complain about partisanship, you should know that every witness testimony and every deposition video has featured Republicans. Every single one.

They also utterly trashed your previous assertion that there was proof of widespread election fraud. Trump's family knew there was none, his aides knew there was none, his campaign knew there was none, his lawyers knew there was none, and Trump knew that there was none. The only people who thought such proof existed were Trump's supporters, because he lied to them and they believed him.

It has, but Jeff would never admit that - least of all to himself.

    Bet ya he does.

Perhaps you will tell me that someone else is to blame.

That's been their Narrative since Day 1 of the Biden Regime. First it was blame it on Trump. Well, that wears after a while, especially since Trump was not in office anymore. Then they blamed Putin, later Ukraine.

But that's normal for Lefties: Blame everyone/everything other than their repeatedly failed policies for the ills that they caused.

The American people were given two choices: a ho-hum Democrat or a despotic wanna-be dictator. They chose wisely.

You are aware that the nation is hearing sworn testimony from multiple Trump advisors and appointees, right?

I'm sure that they would allow Trump to testify as well, were he willing, unedited and on live television carried by multiple networks.

Cheney didn't "doctor" any videos, any more than the highlight reel from a sporting event is a "doctored" video, and she certainly didn't edit anything
to make it appear that someone said something they didn't say (a la James O'Keefe). The January 6 Committee has a lot of evidence to present to the American public, and limited time in which to do so. Of course they're not going to use that precious time airing multi-hour deposition recordings. They're focusing on the portions relevant to the topic at hand.

To be honest, I don't have time to watch your tripe. The US Justice
Department, Federal Courts, and state audits and investigations (whether governmental, independent, or wildly biased toward Trump) have found any evidence of widespread voter fraud. Mike Lindell has spent millions trying to find some, but has come up empty-handed at every turn. Trump himself has not been able to provide any such proof. And yet, we're to believe that Gregory Deyss has a treasure trove of such evidence? I think not.

There is no record of Biden standing up to Putin, Xi Jinping or
begging like dog to the Saudis to increase oil production.

What do you call the extensive sanctions on Russia and Putin if not
    "standing up to Putin".

You mean like Liz Cheney who was caught using a doctored video with selective audio from the Donald Trump's daughter

More food for thought that Jan 6th was a setup at https://tinyurl.com/r6jbadmb

That is an article that is full of false statements and bias.

But on the issue of Trump's guilt she is correct.

    Guilt, what guilt?

And that article is ten months out of date. It makes statements that

No, I'm not. Trump tried to subvert our democracy and remain in power after losing an election. That's about as un-American as it gets.

Trump broke laws, committed crimes, and attempted a coup. There is overwhelming evidence of that. Your videos are rubbish.
Your response to the videos, is a matter of your opinion.
It is obvious that it is not mine.

It is my response to the overwhelming evidence being presented. This week is the fourth hearing, which will feature Brad Rafensperger -- the Georgia Secretary of State, a Republican, and the official that Trump pressured to "find" 11,780 votes. Do you think the committee would waste time with his testimony if it was irrelevant to their investigation?

The 2020 Georgia election was audited no less than three different times, and not the slightest evidence of widespread voter fraud was ever found.

You continued belief in widespread election fraud in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary is delusional.

They are the patriots that Trump supporters wish they were.
Your not much a patriot if you do not believe in America First.

"America First" is a racist policy. However, as far as prioritizing American interests goes, attempting to remain in power after losing an election is not putting America first. It goes against every belief that America was founded on. Trying to put the power to choose the next president into the hands of
one man rather than into the hands of the people of the United States is not putting America first. It goes against every belief that America was founded on.

There is no evidence of widespread voter fraud.
Voter Fraud does not need to widespread to be considered voter fraud, it is voter fraud nonetheless, and therefore it is proof, and that is all that is required to be a called a fact.

Sure there were small incidents of voter fraud, a significant number of them committed by Republicans, but none were even close to the scale needed to change the election results.

    (1) nothing is Biden's fault;

    (2) Per Biden, some of what we are going through is a great and painful transition towards Green Energy (which could be taken as "it is
    intentional";

    (3) Taking Biden's word for us being in a transition, it is not the administration's fault that they decided it was time to start this
    transition before the alternatives were proven and affordable enough;

    (4) According to at least one member of this echo, they are proven and affordable... which leaves out the "if you have lots of cash lying around,
    and are willing to possibly have to replace a $1000+ battery every 5 or so years, after the warranty has run out," meaning that the cars themselves might be proven but the battery tech is still not as reliable as what we have now;

is not the fault of Biden, or his administration, that this is being overlooked. Administration policy is not their responsibility, I guess???

There is no evidence of widespread voter fraud.
Trump says there is. And his legion of MAGA followers believe him.
That's all that counts. So please. Get with the program.

The irony is, Trump's supporters have been the ones suffering from "TDS" all

I was having a discussion with two die-hard Trumpsters last night.
Both of them believe The Big Lie as Gospel Truth. Nothing could be

them the courts ruled against him, as no evidence could be shown,
they both said that was because Democrats had rigged it so that
votes cast for Trump remained uncounted, and the judges who ruled

It gives no pleasure, to say that I was all this time. Just look al that has happened since we last spoke? It has been nothing short of cluster_fu*k. Hasn't?
    (1) nothing is Biden's fault;

And not everything is Biden's fault.

    (2) Per Biden, some of what we are going through is a great and painful transition towards Green Energy (which could be taken as "it is intentional";

Partially, yes. Part of it is global geopolitics.

    (3) Taking Biden's word for us being in a transition, it is not the administration's fault that they decided it was time to start this transition before the alternatives were proven and affordable enough;

In fact, most of it is geopolitical.

    (4) According to at least one member of this echo, they are proven and affordable... which leaves out the "if you have lots of cash lying
around, and are willing to possibly have to replace a $1000+ battery
    every 5 or so years, after the warranty has run out," meaning that the cars themselves might be proven but the battery tech is still not as reliable as what we have now;

The transition will not be happening overnight, but we need to get on it and take it seriously.

    (5) You won't hear that this transition is more painful for lower income Americans, but you might hear that we should have stronger social
    programs so that they don't need cars to get to jobs they also shouldn't need;

Aren't most transitions? That's no reason to halt progress. And yes, we need
to offset the adverse effects on lower income Americans by offering them financial assistance.

    (6) You might also get drawn down a philosophical rabbit hole regarding the "social programs" and "needing jobs" part of #5 that will totally derail any conversation about how the transition is more painful for the lower class. Either that, or you will be told that "Republicans/conservatives" don't care about the lower class so you

The transition is necessary, but will not happen overnight. High gasoline prices are unrelated to the transition and are being caused by goepolitics.

    Hello Björn,

Every day they get one day older. Quite a few of them are of an age
that they don't have all that many days left.

LOL! And there's no reason to believe that they'll get any wiser by age? Some of us actually think that we do so (I'm soon to be 74)... :-)

You don't understand. Not really your fault. Even though you are
from Sweden, and have spent a significant amount of time in Florida,
    you still don't understand.

While there does remain hope for some in Florida and other parts of
the USA, there is no hope for anybody from Texas. Here's why -

Joe Biden recieved 7 million more votes than Donald Trump.
Joe Biden also received 306 electoral votes from the Electoral
College - more than the 270 needed to win.

None of that mattered to Republicans in Texas, who formally voted
in a state-wide convention this weekend on a party platform that calls homosexuality an "abnormal lifestyle choice" - thus denying Log Cabin Republicans in Houston a booth at the convention, or to participate
    in their convention.

This homophobic group of Republicans then went on to main event -

"We reject the certified results of the 2020 presidential election,
and we hold that acting President Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. was not legitimately elected by the people of the United States."
    - resolution passed unanimously by a voice vote at the convention

That is the official resolution of Republican Texas State Party.

According to a recent Reuters/Ipsos poll, two-thirds of Republicans
nationally believe the 2020 presidential election was stolen from
Trump. So please. Do not blame it all on Texas, just because Jeff
    lives there.

Yes Putin should be held personally responsible for his
    actions.
Why should the Russian people have to be punished, and be made
    to
struggle when they are innocent in this?
That is how we hold leaders accountable, other than war. It's
    illegal
    assassinate foreign leaders.
    JFK did in Diem (Vietnam).
GWB did in Saddam Hussein (Iraq).

    I'm not sure about Vietnam,

I know the daughter of a former president of Vietnam.
Both she and her father were there at the time.

    https://millercenter.org/the-presidency/educational-resources/diem-coup

Eighteen days after JFK recorded his thoughts on the Diem matter,
he was silenced by an assassin in Dallas, Texas.

No evidence to date has ever been revealed by our government to
support the contention that Lee Harvey Oswald had anything to do
    with it.

And thanks to live television coverage, we all know what happened
to Oswald (who was never charged with JFK's murder) inside the Dallas
    police station ...

but Saddam Hussein was tried and executed by the
interim Iraqi government, not the United States.

What do you call the extensive sanctions on Russia and Putin if not "standing up to Putin".

Sanctions extensive or otherwise, do you really believe that Putin is suffering or do you believe that the citizens of Russia is where the
    real suffering is.

Actually, I do believe that Putin is suffering, albeit not as much as his oligarchs or the citizens of Russia.

And that article is ten months out of date. It makes statements that
are no longer true, e.g. that "no one has been charged with
insurrection". There have now been multiple convictions for seditious conspiracy.

One is innocent until proven Guilty.

That is true. And as I said "convictions" so they are no longer
innocent. Also there are some of those closest to Trump who are
admitting guilt by asking for a pardon.

Sorry Dale this also goes for the Donald Trump too.

It is my response to the overwhelming evidence being presented. This
week is the fourth hearing, which will feature Brad Rafensperger -- the Georgia Secretary of State, a Republican, and the official that Trump pressured to "find" 11,780 votes. Do you think the committee would waste time with his testimony if it was irrelevant to their investigation?

No, it is about holding Trump accountable for his crimes. No one is above the law. Trump was, temporarily, because it was decided that a sitting president cannot be indicted. But now that Trump is no longer a sitting president, he most definitely needs to be held accountable.

As I said it is a big risk because if Trump is Triumphant, you and your party will be over for a long long time.

58% of Americans currently think that Trump should be prosecuted. That
includes 19% of Republicans. That may not sound like much, but it's one in
five Republicans. Statistically speaking, one in five of your Republican friends thinks Trump should be prosecuted.

It is my response to the overwhelming evidence being presented. This week is the fourth hearing, which will feature Brad Rafensperger -- th Georgia Secretary of State, a Republican, and the official that Trump pressured to "find" 11,780 votes. Do you think the committee would was time with his testimony if it was irrelevant to their investigation?
Sure why not just look at the length of time and the multiple millions that the American Taxpayer paid, last time there was a witch-hunt. Only
to end with an acquittal. So no they will not stop even when logic suggests to do otherwise.

Trump's impeachments were not criminal trials; they were political. *Those* were theater. This is much, much different. Given the evidence uncovered so far, logic most definitely does not suggest to do otherwise.

They are the patriots that Trump supporters wish they were.
Your not much a patriot if you do not believe in America First.
"America First" is a racist policy.
If you believe that America First was racist, then I would recommend
that you pick up a book proverbially not from Karl Marx.

"America First" has always had racist undertones, especially concerning immigration. That has absolutely nothing to do with Karl Marx.

It would also be a great idea to pick up a dictionary.

I know what those two words mean, but I also know that the two of them
together have a connotation that is more that the sum of its parts. And you know it, too.

Surely you know that the population of the US isn't evenly distributed,
right? There are densely populated cities that contain millions of people,
and there are sparsely populated counties that contain just a few hunderd people. More sparsely-populated areas tend to vote Republican, and more densely-populated areas tend to vote Democrat.

It does have to be widespread to have any impact on the elections. In
the 2020 election, there have been a few isolated proven cases of voter fraud. Would you care to guess how many and what party they voted for?

It's no mystery, take a look at the map of red vs blue and you have
your answer. There is a helluva lot more Red then Blue which is where
    the misinformed reside.

That is a complete non answer, except that you seem to be implying that
the Red state voters are misinformed.

Since you seem not to know the (or don't want to know) the answer, I
will give you some info to educate you. It was easily found with a web
search. The summary is that the amount of fraud discovered
    A. could not have effect on any election and
    B. was mostly by Trump voters.

    Here is the quoted article:

A team of Associated Press reporters spent months reviewing every
possible voter fraud case in six battleground states disputed by former President Donald Trump, and they found "fewer than 475 " a number that
would have made no difference in the 2020 presidential election," AP
reports. The disputed ballots identified in more than 300 local election offices amounted to just 0.15 percent of President Biden's margin of
victory in the six states: Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada,
    Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.

"The cases could not throw the outcome into question even if all the potentially fraudulent votes were for Biden, which they were not, and
even if those ballots were actually counted, which in most cases they
were not," AP reports. "The cases are bipartisan. Some of those charged
with fraud are registered Republicans or told investigators they were supporters of Trump." In fact, every specific case written up in the AP
report involved a Trump supporter voting twice or casing a ballot
    illegally.

Three apparent Trump supporters were recently arrested in Florida and
charged with casting more than one vote, The Washington Post reports.
The three residents of The Villages are charged with having voted in
Florida and also another state, Michigan, New York, and an undisclosed
state, the Post says, and they were arrested after the county elections supervisor ordered an investigation.

All these cases "underscore that suspected fraud is both generally
detected and exceptionally rare," AP reports, but "Trump's false claims
of a stolen election fueled the deadly Jan. 6 attempted insurrection at
the Capitol, have led to death threats against election officials, and
have become deeply ingrained within the GOP, with two-thirds of
Republicans believing Biden's election is illegitimate."

On that very same day, Donald Trump had asked his stooge

But for some unknown and unexplainable reason, his stooge
got cold feet and chose to do his Constitutional duty instead.

But that's okay. All has been forgiven. 2020 was just a dry

In my state, polling places were only open on election day. That was not the case with Nevada. It's fine though. All countries have good and bad stuff about them. We lack election integrity, and we separate children from their fathers, but we've got freedom of religion and freedom of speech 60% of the time and that's pretty swell compared to other
    developed nations.

Accepting mail-in ballots after election day (provided that they had an appropriate postmark) is not illegal, and it does not mean that the polls
    were open after election day.

Trump handled the pandemic badly. From asserting that it was a "hoax" downplaying its severity to announcing arbitrary deadlines for a viru exit our bodies to starting a feud with Fauci when Fauci disagreed wi Trump's decidedly non-scientific advice to the American people, he handled it very, very badly.
Isn't there more to it than that? He handled the pandemic badly with a bunch of words that spewed from his mouth? How about his actions/inactions? Democrats are downplaying the seriousness of covid as we speak, because they want people to feel like Biden cured covid ahead
    of election day.

COVID is still a threat, although a manageable one if enough people are vaccinated. The more that are vaccinated, the mor emanageable, but we have to take what we can get.

Biden was right when he said "the greatest threat to homeland securit white people," because he's a white guy, and look at all the disaster he's caused.

    Biden never said that.

When the president tells the nation "the greatest threat is white supremacy," then non-whites hear that as "white people."

    Hello Jeff,

Trump was not exonerated in the Russia scandal.

There was no Russian scandal. That sounds like exoneration to me.
Of course the legal term is called an acquittal.

Exoneration and acquittal are not the same thing.

    BINGO!

Monica's blue dress (with the stain) was in the evidence room
for all to see, but none of the Senators bothered to take a look.

And there indeed was a Russia scandal exposed by the Mueller report.

You do realize Melania once played the part of the first female

    Twinkle, twinkle, little star ...

I went to put your name in the Twit List and I realized that we haven't heard
from some other twits in quite some time now. It's a common practice of you
people to drop off for a time then resurface with a different name.

Always with a real name. And with so many to choose from ...

    For Life,
    Lee

Fauci's colleagues have not said that COVID seems to have been born in a lab; in fact they say the opposite, and Fauci agrees with them.

The part that makes the "COVID = weapon" believeable to some is not so far fetched. We have discussed before that:

    (1) the US government participates in and/or funds gain-of-function research into viruses and bacteria;
    (2) they do so with the stated goal being to come up with antidotes,
    vaccines, etc., that would be of benefit should an attack or pandemic take place;
    (3) other countries also do this;
    (4) some of the US-funded/assisted research happens in these other countries; (5) some of these other countries are not places that many Americans
believe should be trusted with conducting such research, i.e. that could possibly use the research beyond the stated goal above and create biological weapons with what they find.

That is not too far fetched, and history does contain evidence that it does happen. While there is no evidence that the US government was ever involved
in assisting Nazi Germany in such a way, the Nazis did indeed have gain-of-function labs whose stated purpose was to create antidotes and
vaccines in the event that a biological attack should take place against Germany or their troops. At least, that is what everyone (including
    Hilter!) was told.

While they may have also been doing that, the real reason that Himmler and others wanted the research to take place was so the Nazis could covertly
create new biological weapons of their own. Evidence now suggests that
they not only took part in this research but actually used what they found
at least once in Northeastern Italy, after the fall of their fascist
government and Italy's subsequent realignment with the Allies.

The Japanese did the same thing in Manchuria, experimenting with gain-of-function (for a supposedly good cause) on their captives while
planning biological disasters for their foes. There was a meeting of German and Japanese scientists aboard a submarine somewhere in the Indian Ocean
during WWII where they exchanged notes.

Even a smart person should question whether or not funding/participating in such research in or with less-than-friendly countries could lead to someone later using what was learned against us, or against other innocent
countries. History proves it can happen. It does not sound like it
happened with COVID but, seeing as how China has about as much regard for
their minority groups as the Japanese did for the Chinese, if I were a US researcher or top health official I would not want to be in any way
involved in working with China on any gain-of-function research.

"Domestic terrorism from white supremacists is the most lethal threat in the homeland. We cannot and must not give hate any safe harbor." -- President Biden

Domestic terrorism in general is always at the top of threats to the
homeland. The recent mass-shootings, which I see as terrorists acts, would prove that point. They were Americans shooting at Americans. Now, with
those recent shootings, a lot of the perpetrators were not white. As best
as I can tell, only one has been tied to being a potential "white
    supremacist."

I believe Biden said "white supremacists" in that statement for a reason, but
I don't believe that we would agree on that reason. It was either a
devisive statement or a leftist dog-whistle. Either way, it seems to have worked.

The statement would have been just as true, if not even a little more so,
if he had said, "Domestic terrorism is the most lethal threat in the
homeland. We cannot and must not give hate any safe harbor." That would
have covered all domestic terror threats, and all hate. Joe, or his
handlers, decided to narrow down the threats and the hate that cannot be tolerated for a reason.

Exactly. You were misquoting it to twist it into "Joe's addressing danger," but he's not addressing real dangers. If white supremacists were murdering people then we'd hear about it, and we're not hearing about it.

The mass shooter in Buffalo targeted the store because its clientele was
mostly black and/or non-white. That is the only one I have heard of
recently. Most of the other shootings, and crimes, seem to be white/black/hispanic persons perpetrating their crimes against persons of
the same skin color, or diverse crowds.

Not sure about this, but I did read where a Soros-backed DA on the West
Coast (SF?) got recalled because he was too-soft on criminals. That means there were enough people fed up with him to circulate a petition to get the recall on a ballot, and enough people to vote in favor of it to make it

What Chuck & Nancy did is worse than wearing blackface.

And most funerals are public events that do not require an invitation.

Funerals are campaign stops for scumbags like Joe Biden. Has he been to any brown people funerals from the Uvalde disaster?

We are hearing about it. What do you think happened at the supermarket in Buffalo, or the Wal-Mart in El Paso?

He's white, he's racist, he killed people, but he's mentally ill, and he was a lone wolf. It doesn't match Joe & Alejandro's idiotic "white supremacy" slogan.

Plus Joe is totally "giving hate safe harbor."

    In what way?

He's segregating people by saying "white supremacy is our biggest threat."
Only an idiot who watches the news too much and doesn't go outside to see reality enough will fall for Joe's crap. You'd be better off trying to defend AOC than Joe Biden. Give it a try! She's a smart lady!

And what is your source for the "Soros agenda?"

George funded Joe Biden, and Joe punished federal police officers. George funded Chesa Boudin and Alvin Bragg, and they are dropping the charges for all of Obama's sons. You can't be this much of a butt kiss for the cause without knowing this stuff. Are you playing dumb or do you just want me to give you a bunch of stupid links?

You might as well admit that you don't know what you're talking about either.

I am not a virologist, so I depend on the expertise of those who have committedd their lives and careers to the study of viruses to evaluate such claims.

You're committed to backing the scientists who Fauci wants you to back, and you're committed to trashing the scientists who Fauci wants you to trash.

That's a twist from "making the world less populated for elites to enjoy."

They are not trying to kill people.

Sure, you sound just like Mr Buxton from Pee Wee's Big Adventure:
"The Buxtons are not thieves, Pee Wee.."

There is no evidence that the COVID-19 virus originated in a lab. If you think you have any, please present it.

It was presented by the Fauci dissenters, but *you knew that* because you said it yourself "The vast majority of Fauci's colleagues support what he says."

He admitted it to Rand Paul.

    Yeah, there's a real reliable source. <eyeroll>

He admitted it to him in front of a senate hearing, in front of the whole world. Where have you been?

Yea, the real goal of study is something that they don't talk
    about.

Do you have evidence to support this hypothesis? No, of course you don't, you're making it up because you've been brainwashed to believe that scientists are "evil".

Nuclear fallout is a threat. Maybe we should mutate nuclear disasters so that way we can study it and prevent it from hurting people?

Sure, some colleagues didn't say it, but some did, and Fauci tried to discredit the ones that did. Any robot for the leftist army
would do the same, right Jeff?

As of right now there appears to be very little evidence supporting that hypotheses. There is an investigation, not sure if much has been found yet.

Investigate my butt. Dr Fauci's associates (some) concluded that COVID-19 appears to have been mutated in a laboratory, Fauci threatened to ruin their careers for dissenting, and it's all been documented. But defenders of the agenda will say "appears to be very little evidence.." because you guys are brainwashed into agreeing with Fauci.

Not sure about this, but I did read where a Soros-backed DA on the West Coast (SF?) got recalled because he was too-soft on criminals. That
means there were enough people fed up with him to circulate a petition
to get the recall on a ballot, and enough people to vote in favor of it
to make it happen. Since it happened on the West Coast, he must have
    been really, really bad.

News articles suggest that George Soros is supporting he campaigns of these liberal DAs (Bragg, Boudin, etc) because of their soft on crime beliefs.
Notice how the president (who also takes generous campaign donations from Soros) has nothing bad to say about any of that crap.

Could you provided some links for this? Are those others scientists or doctors?

I don't know what happened to the article about Fauci's NIH associates disputing covid's origins, but that story was available for a while, and we've discussed it in here before. Jeff's not disputing that there were differences of opinion, he just said "the vast majority" <of Fauci's NIH colleagues> agree with Fauci.

Dr. Robert Redfield (fmr CDC director) holds the opinion that covid was
created in a Chinese lab, to which Fauci responded "that's his

It is very interesting that you mention nuclear fallout. You might not be
old enough to remember, but most of the folks who protested nuclear energy
in this country were also the same type of folks who protested what we now
call gain-of-function labs. While some of them were NIMBYs ("not in my back yard!"), those who joined them were of the left-leaning political persuasion.

I am not sure when folks from that camp suddenly changed their minds about gain-of-function labs, but I suspect for many of them (especially in this
echo) that change came after early November 2020. Possibly earlier that
year, like when they realized that Fauci did not particularly care for
Trump. For a few, it may have simply been because they don't want China to
    be blamed for a pandemic.

I doubt that most of them were on board much earlier than March, 2020.

I personally choose to believe what many scientists have said... although possible, COVID-19 likely did not start in a lab.

No I was stating it was the other way around, these blue areas are metropolitan. They are dem controlled strongholds. Why are they
democrat? Why do African Americans in large numbers vote Democrat,
they have never received anything of significance, what they have been promised w/ a better way
    of life by the dems,
less crime, better schools, more opportunities for employment -
whatever might be the cotton candy flavor of the moment but it never
seems to come to fruition, and yet they continue to vote democratic.

Perhaps because the Democrats have given them more than the Republicans
    have?

I do not know about you Dale, but if someone promised me something,
and then didn't deliver; a better way of life, or whatever it was. I
    would never trust them again.

It would seem to me that the current status for African Americans *IS* a
better way of life than they had twenty years ago. It may not be
perfect, nor as good as the rest of us are privileged to have, but it
    is better for many.

It was easily found with a web search.

So was this and IT is video evidence, not some "quoted article" by a
    left leaning publication.
    https://tinyurl.com/2vjsvwx2

? Video evidence of what? It has nothing to do with the existence or non-existence of voter fraud in the 2020 election.

What it is evidence of is the suppression of an elected official
attempting to find out what the governor was doing.

Why would anyone protest a "photo id requirement on all absentee
ballots." What are these dems afraid of.

The bill she was protesting against was a lot more than requiring photo
id on mail in ballots. That bill reduced the ability of many people
(mostly African Americans) to vote by reducing the number of polling
places and times, plus other things designed to reduce the number of
Democrat votes in future elections. It was based on the false premise
of the Big Lie of Trump that there was widespread voter fraud in the
    2020 election.

to say that "the election was stolen."

Nope -- the election was not stolen. He just did not like the way the

It's all the covid madness (making people feel like the pandemic was Trump's fault, mail-in ballots for all, keeping polls open until

There is at least one state that only has mail in ballots, no polling

Sending out ballots and receiving ballots are two different things. If some voters have the right to mail in their ballots, why shouldn't all voters have that right?

Fine, but why make those changes in 2020 and not in 2019 or 2018?

No, certainly not. I am thinking more along the lines of something non-conspiratory. Like we goofed when we started closing mental institutions, or the deterioration of the family unit, or something else that is causing people to snap or to feel so otherwise hopeless that a killing spree seems like a good idea.

It's nice of you to call these things "goofs" and it's modest for you to say "we" like you had any choice in these matters.

Andrew Cuomo (D) closed the Broome Developmental Center in Broome County NY (that's the county where the Buffalo shooter is from,) and I'm not sure how custody agreements go here in NYS, but in Indiana County Pennsylvania, there's
a Democrat family court judge who facililtates fatherlessness (at least for me
and my oldest son.) Coincidences, perhaps!

Now these are possibly examples of what I was thinking of. I am not sure
they are part of any conspiracy so much as they are just bad policies. In
the case of the mental institutions, I think both political sides are to
blame -- the left said it was not correct to lock people away, that they
could reform them, etc., while the right disagreed until someone showed them they could save money not locking them away.

The USA is not the only place that happened, either.

As a society, we seem to look at divorce with less of a stigma than we used
to. In some ways, I am not sure that is a bad thing as some marriages are worse than the alternative. However, it has also contributed to the deterioration of the family unit. It is not the only factor. Judges who
have a prejudice against the fathers (or mothers!) certainly don't help.

I honest think that part of the problem lies with (at least part of) our society and how we raise kids with the idea that they "need to have kids"
of their own when they hit a certain age. Not teaching them about, or
giving them proper access to, birth control is another factor. Abstinence until marriage is a great idea but it is quite obvious it is *not* effective *at all* in practice.

Drug addicts that get pregnant and continue using during pregnancy lead to children with psychological issues which also does not help.

One thing I am pretty sure we are doing wrong is being too tolerant, or inattentive, of persons with violent and sociopathic tendencies.

School staff members don't want to stir things up, and single moms can't discipline their kids. "No TV or internet while I'm at work and while you're home alone." (yea right!)

If they even try to discipline them. There are some parents who worry
about their kid's behavior and may take action. There are others who worry
but do not (scared of the kid, worried about what society would think if
they find out, etc.). Then there are those who think their kid cannot do anything wrong and actually enable the kids... even after the kid does something serious enough to land them in jail, they work to get them out.

That last group in particular should not be parents.

It would seem to me that the current status for African Americans *IS* a better way of life than they had twenty years ago. It may not be
perfect, nor as good as the rest of us are privileged to have, but it
    is better for many.

I think in some ways, it *was* getting better. The largest city in
Kentucky has been lead by "non-Republicans" for at least 40 years now. Their policies over the last 10-15 years of that time have lead to a lot of older African Americans, who lived in decent areas of town, either finding their
area going downhill or becoming gentrified to the point where they can no longer afford to live there.

The family of Briana Taylor pointed that out as one of the reasons they
thought the cops were so aggressive in certain areas... that it is some
part of the city's plan to gentrify more areas and make more tax money by driving (certain) people out of those areas.

Most White Democrats in that area seem overall please with the
administrations in question, so they keep electing the same people. Since
1990 (or slighly before... I cannot remember when Abrahamson first took
office) they have only had 2 or 3 mayors, so they get re-elected plenty.

I doubt that Louisville, Kentucky, is the only place in the USA where
African Americans are being gentrified out of their neighborhoods.

    Source:
    https://www.thefactual.com/blog/is-the-associated-press-biased/

AP often includes subjective, leftward analysis in hard news reports
and omits sources in its political writing. This reflects the worries
of some, conservative critics about the creep of liberal bias at the organization, which
they argue is moving away from simple reporting to providing
    contextual and biased analysis.

OK, you pick a single paragraph from that article (which BTW is an
article which concludes that AP is a neutral and factual news source)
which says what you want it to say, while ignoring the overall analysis
in the article. I'll call your article and raise you one:

The AP had an average Writing Tone score of 0.79, placing it in the 96th percentile in our dataset. This is the tenth-highest score in the
dataset out of all 245 sources that we analyzed, suggesting that
articles from AP are almost always written in a highly neutral tone.
This means articles from the site rarely use emotionally loaded language
    or sensationalist reporting.

Media Bias/Fact Check (MBFC) reaches a similar conclusion, classifying
AP as "Least-Biased"--MBFC's centrist category-- but close to
"Left-Center". This borderline positioning is due to left-leaning editorializing, but MBFC assesses that AP has an overall balanced story selection. AP also receives the highest possible rating for factual
reporting due to proper sourcing of information and a clean fact-check
record. MBFC corroborates AllSides in finding a slight left-leaning bias
in some instances, though they credit AP for maintaining a largely
neutral voice in coverage of the Trump presidency.

Having worked in IT for years has taught me that making things "much
easier" for the user is not always a good thing. It almost always goes hand
in hand with "much easier to abuse."

Back in the early 20-teens, someone in the Federal Government came up with
a bright idea to make it easier for people to apply for some form of
federal loan or assistance. You go to the website, give it some minimal identifying information, and it would pull in your federal tax return info (either for the previous year, or multiple previous years). So it was
    "much easier" to apply.

It was also "much easier" for non-honest individuals to pull the federal
tax return information of persons (plural) who were not themselves. They
then used that information to file fradulent tax returns the following year that were close enough to what the real person filed the previous year that they were able to get around most of the federal fraud prevention edits.

That had a ripple effect, so the crooks not only got away with federal
refund money, they also got away with refund money from the state the real person lived in, and from whatever other money-making schemes that they
could use that stolen return information for.

But, you know, it made it "much easier" than applying for the
loan/assistance in person or by mail, and "much easier" than having to gather that info on your own so, by the logic of some, that makes it a good thing.

The proof is in the headlines. "Some women fear setback to hard-won rights,"
that's not necessarily a fake story, but zeroing-in on that aspect of
    the USSC
ruling is a leftist approach. Why can't our pals from the AP publish the story
about "Some women are happy about the USSC's ruling?"

This is one thing that we in the free world do not understand about the crazy talk from the MAGA crowd. Wasn't the GOP once the party that had on it's agenda less government and more freedom? Ergo no MediCare for all, but rather the right to get a premium, private insurance (costing four times as much than the extra taxes to pay for the former).

How then can anyone believing in that, then accept that the government actually can take control of how more than half of the citizens (of the wrong gender) are allowed to make decisions about their own fucking bodies!?!?

Yeah, how's that for less government and more freedom, you poor suckers...

Yeah, how's that for less government and more freedom, you poor suckers...

Eugene Robinson (he won a Pulitzer) tried to explain it to us -

This isn’t your country anymore. You are now governed by a secretive
and unaccountable junta in long black robes, and there are going to be
    some changes around here.

Our de facto rulers are Supreme Court Justices Clarence Thomas, Samuel
    A. Alito Jr., Neil M. Gorsuch, Brett M. Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett,
with Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. usually joining in. Be sure to
remember their names, because they are now large and in charge — and
because they envision a United States far different from the nation
    we’re accustomed to.

I describe them with a term more commonly used for Latin American
military regimes because, well, that’s what it feels like.

They want a country where women, once again, are at best second-class
citizens. Their decision Friday to strike down the landmark Roe v. Wade
ruling that protected the constitutional right to abortion means that
women, unlike men, no longer have dominion over their own bodies.

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2022/06/27/supreme-court-roe -abortion-christians/

Now that you know who our real rulers are, and how we are all
controlled and manipulated by what amounts to being a junta, you
can sleep well at night, knowing that Turkey has agreed to allow
both Sweden and Finland to join NATO, where women in black robes
    are not allowed to pray.

    For Life,

... about "Some women are happy about the USSC's ruling?"

This is one thing that we in the free world do not understand about the crazy talk from the MAGA crowd.

It is all very simple. So simple even a small child would understand.

Wasn't the GOP once the party that had on it's agenda less government and more freedom?

If you want to be stupid, I can be stupid too. That is the principle
    the GOP was founded on.

Ergo no MediCare for all, but rather the right to get a premium, private insurance (costing four times as much than the extra taxes to pay for the former).

Donald Trump wanted to be stupid, and tried mightily to be stupid,
but John McCain could not be stupid. As a result, we are all still
stuck with Obamacare, with retirees having MediCare ...

How then can anyone believing in that,

Cardinal rule of politics - once you give something away, you can't
take it back. FDR gave us social security. LBJ gave us medicare. GWB
expanded medicare with unfunded mandate, Obama gave us Obamacare.

    Everybody loves freebies.

then accept that the government actually can take control of how more than half of the citizens (of the wrong gender) are allowed to make decisions about their own fucking bodies!?!?

What do women want? I will not even pretend to know the answer
to that question. But one thing is for certain. Guys will do whatever
a woman wants. That is just the way it is, and always has been, since
man has walked this earth ...

Yeah, how's that for less government and more freedom, you poor suckers...

The wonders a woman can do with a coat hanger ...

The media has you (and many others) spazzing out over nothing. The USSC ruling has not outlawed abortions; it has left the power up to the state governments (state government as in providence government.) Now the providences "can" decide (as individuals) on abortion rights. I put "can" in quotes because the providences have always had the power to do so, but now they are forced to decide for themselves.

Province governments, such as New York province's government, California's province government, and Virginia's province government, already allow doctors to murder babies up to and including on the day they're born. (It's not "murder" unless the baby is 2 days old.) Are you outraged that 1 day old
babies can't be murdered in the other 47 provinces? Or that some pregnant women will need to travel to another province to murder their baby legally?

Oops and I didn't mean to say "women" I meant to say "birthing persons." (Wouldn't want to offend men with uteruses.)

I don't know about the middle one, but the other two are true, right? Right or wrong, there are some women who are worried right now, and the heat kills homeless people every year. You would have to go deeper into the article to prove a lean.

The proof is in the headlines. "Some women fear setback to hard-won rights," that's not necessarily a fake story, but zeroing-in on that aspect of the USSC

By this logic, wouldn't that make the second headline rightist? :)

Do we call people "Mitt Romneys" when we suspect them of rino-ism? I don't. Mitt Romney doesn't vote liberal on everything. I'm somewhat pleased with his voting record. He ain't a bad guy, just not a Trumper. To say that "calling people a Romney is the new thing," is BS.

Some people do. I would not, either.

She was quite clear about what she had observed, and what she was told

clear that she was told this by another person while the Secret Service
Agent involved was in the room. If it were not true, he could easily
    have interjected at that point.

Meanwhile, the Secret Service was never asked if it happened, and apparently the officer involved says it did not.

by a reliable observer. I admit that until the Secret Service Agent is
asked under oath, that item remains hearsay.

OTOH, much of her testimony was based on things that she directly
observed. She was in the tent prior to Trump's speech. She hear him
tell the Secret Service to let the armed people into the rally area
    *without* surrendering their arms.

Taken as a whole, her testimony was valuable to the J6 committee and

    Hello Dale,

Trump insisting on going to the Capital himself and becoming furious

The person who testified to this said she was told this by another
person who was also not in the car when it supposedly happened.

    have interjected at that point.

Don't let it bother you. Mike Powell is nothing more than a shill
for Donald Trump. There are others doing the same. What is going on
sounds like standard Trump gaslighting, "People are saying ..."

Let's look at a few facts. Real facts that can be independently
verified. Here's one of those facts -

Cindy Hutchinson's testimony (under oath) followed switch from lawyer
being paid by Trump. Records - MSNBC Prime.

Ari Velshi (MSNBC) showed public records that indicate Donald Trump's
Save America PAC making regular payments to Elections LLC, the law firm
of Stefan Passantino, who represented Cassidy Hutchinson until she
changed lawyers about a month before testifying at the J6 hearing.
This shows a possible connection between the switch and her willingness
to testify. This was aired on 06/30/2022.

The question is, have lawyers representing these people (which had
included Cindy Hutchinson) really been representing Trump?

Meanwhile, the Secret Service was never asked if it happened, and
apparently the officer involved says it did not.

The Secret Service had not yet been asked because they had given their testimony well before Tuesday's session. They have said that they are willing to reply under oath, but to my knowledge they have not yet done so.

Notice none of the critics of Cindy Hutchinson's testimony have
done so under oath. Nor or any of them willing to do so. This is
all nothing more than standard Trump gaslighting.

There have been some things to come out of the hearings, yes, but
having a special unscheduled day for someone to repeat things they did
not witness, and only heard second or third hand, only gives those that
doubt the validity of the whole process more ammunition for their
    claims.

You focus on this one item. As I said above, she did not claim direct knowledge of that particular incident -- but that she was told about it
by a reliable observer. I admit that until the Secret Service Agent is asked under oath, that item remains hearsay.

Her testimony was both damning and credible. Especially since all of
it was made while under oath, the penalty for lying being perjury.

I am sure secret service agents would have no problem being sworn
in and testifying under oath. But critics (shills of Donald Trump)
are not willing to do so. And we all know the reason why.

OTOH, much of her testimony was based on things that she directly observed. She was in the tent prior to Trump's speech. She hear him
tell the Secret Service to let the armed people into the rally area *without* surrendering their arms.

If she perjured herself, then she should be charged. But no charges
have been filed. Could be because she actually told the truth.

Taken as a whole, her testimony was valuable to the J6 committee and
    worth making public.

Not only was her testimony valuable (and credible) to the J6 select
committee, but it was also the most damning presented to date. This is
what the public needed to know, and not be hidden.

-=the entity known as MIKE POWELL attempted to insinuate ... =-

Trump insisting on going to the Capital himself and becoming furious
when the secret service would not allow that.

The person who testified to this said she was told this by another
person who was also not in the car when it supposedly happened.

She was quite clear about what she had observed, and what she was told
in various points in her testimony. As to this particular item, she was
clear that she was told this by another person while the Secret Service
Agent involved was in the room. If it were not true, he could easily
    have interjected at that point.

You don't know why she was not corrected, or if the agent even heard what she
    was told.

No cross examination, no real Republicans, NO NOTHING. Fake stories
and an all Fake Narrative being produced, with ZERO pushback allowed.
Unselects (twit me please) should be forced to disband. WITCH HUNT!

Sounds like standard Trump gaslighting, "People are saying ..."

You focus on this one item. As I said above, she did not claim direct
knowledge of that particular incident -- but that she was told about it
by a reliable observer. I admit that until the Secret Service Agent is
asked under oath, that item remains hearsay.

But you posted that as if it was fact, which is why I focused on that item.

I did not question the other ones.

Time for MIKE POWELL to take the stand and testify, under oath,
to the J6 select committee ...

Nor do you know if she was corrected, nor if the agent agree with her.

I posted it as something that came out -- sorry for not transcribing her
    exact testimony.

I did not question the other ones.

All of which are also pretty damning for Trump.

I am still waiting to see any credible articles you might want to share.
Thanks for being patient, and just know that I have not forgotten.
    Not in the slightest.
Truthfully, I had one helluva day on Friday it was nightmarish.
Day began at 7:30 am Friday and ended a 3am the next morning. (Saturday)
My Arris cablemodem/([router]) was no longer recognized with my service provider after a restoration of my account with my ISP. The hardwired
machines continued to function, but the router connectivity was lost which meant no wifi and with no wifi there is no IP for any of the wireless devices. New Cable Modem has been provided, by the ISP but the router that the ISP provided was garbage. No GUI in the old-school sense of the word, only a app
on my cellphone, but it was still lacking the connectivity to create DYN as
it did not exist within. I have replaced the router with a Linksys Hydra 6 router and now everything is now fully restored.
So now, I will be able to once again re-focus my gaze, while you continue to wait patiently.
