Title: All American Skillet Goulash

Yield: 4 servings

1/2 lb Elbow macaroni
1 1/2 lb Ground beef
1/2 Bell pepper; chopped
1 sm Onion; chopped
28 oz Jar spaghetti sauce
1 ts Garlic powder
1 ts Salt
1/2 ts Black pepper
4 oz Shredded Cheddar cheese

Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain and
cover to keep warm.

In a large skillet over high heat, brown the ground
beef, bell pepper, and onion 6 to 8 minutes or until no
pink remains in the beef, stirring frequently. Drain off
excess liquid.

Add macaroni, spaghetti sauce, garlic powder, salt, and
black pepper; mix well. Reduce heat to medium-low and
simmer 5 to 7 minutes, or until heated through. Sprinkle
with cheese and simmer 1 to 2 more minutes or until
cheese is melted.

Title: Country Chicken & Rice

Yield: 6 servings

3 1/2 lb Chicken; in 8 pieces
6 c Water
30 oz (2 cans) tomato sauce
1 lg Onion; fine chopped
1 ts Dried thyme
1 tb Salt
1 ts Black pepper
2 c Rice; rinsed

In a large pot, bring all ingredients except rice to a
boil over medium-high heat.

Cover and allow to boil 35 minutes.

Add rice and cook 25 to 30 minutes, or until rice is
tender, no pink remains in chicken, and chicken juices
run clear.
