    MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

    Title: Old-Fashioned Roast Beef
    Categories: Five, Beef, Herbs
    Yield: 8 servings

    4 lb Bottom round roast
    1 ts Paprika
    1/2 ts Garlic powder
    1/2 ts Onion powder
    1/2 ts (ea) salt & black pepper

    Set oven @ 400ºF/205ºC.

    Place roasting rack in large roasting pan and coat with
    cooking spray. Place roast on rack, fat side up.

    In small bowl, combine remaining ingredients; mix well.
    Rub spice mixture over entire roast, covering
    completely.

    Roast 30 minutes. Reduce oven to 300ºF/150ºC and
    continue roasting beef 70 to 75 minutes, or until
    desired doneness beyond that. Let stand 15 to 20
    minutes before slicing.

    Title: Homemade Hash
    Categories: Five, Beef, Potatoes
    Yield: 6 servings

    1/2 c Butter
    2 md Onions; diced
    3 c Diced, boiled potatoes
    1/4 ts (ea) salt & black pepper
    3 c Diced, cooked, corned beef

    In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter;
    saute onions 3 to 4 minutes, or until tender.

    Add potatoes, salt, and pepper and cook 10 to 12
    minutes, stirring occasionally. Add corned beef, and
    cook 5 to 6 minutes, or until heated through.
