Title: Loaded Cheese Fries
Cheese spread? Eww no. Throw the fries in a bowl, cover with a
generous amount of freshly shredded cheddar and throw under the broiler
to melt.
Processed cheeses have their place in the scheme of things: they melt
easily and don't separate. And some are better than others. Small
batch port wine potted cheese can be most wonderful.

(I would never buy anything below Kraft on that list, especially if
it came in an aerosol can!)
I was very fond of Ingersoll processed cheese spread made in
Ingersoll Ont. They made great Cheddar cheese and their processed
cheese spread blended their new and old Cheddar along with the usual
milk, vegetable oils, emulsifiers and salt. Sadly they are no longer
in business. They got bought out by somebody huge who degraded the
product, dropped it and sold the real estate.
Cheers
Jim
... Actually, all cheese is processed; It's a man-made product.
